Four months of Pure LOVE!
Life is crazy. Anxiety and depression are taking over. But I am a stubborn little lady and refuse to let them take the sweet little memories of my baby boys getting older. I will blog and I will remember. I want to remember everything .. every tear I shed, ever smile I smiled and everything - good or bad - that happens to me. So Another day, I will write about this silly depression and anxiety that tries to collapse me. But tonight, I am writing about one little love of my life. My little Bentley Bean!
Bentley is now 4 and a half months! I seriously cannot believe it! Being parents the second time around is so different. With Carter, we were SO EXCITED for him to roll over, crawl, get his first tooth.. walk.. talk.. EVERYTHING! But with Bentley we are savouring every single baby day we have with him. I am in NO RUSH for him to crawl, walk, talk.... those will all happen in due time.. but for right now, he is my sweet little baby who 100% depends on us. I am in love.
On March 8th, Bentley rolled from his back to his tummy.. and since then.. he is one rollin' baby! He rolls from tummy to back.. back to tummy... and all around in circles.. he's super cute!
And he Really enjoys tummy time! He didn't like it much at first... but with a little consistency on my part.. he is now an expert!
This sweet little Bentley of mine make me SO HAPPY!! At the end of every day my jaw hurst from biting my teeth together all day when I look at that cute cute face! He really makes me forget about the hard time in my life right now and makes me just swallow up his happiness. He saves me.
There are a few things I LOVE about this age. His chubby chubby little legs makes the list for sure! I L.O.V.E baby leg creases!
Second on the list is those ADORABLE little ears.. I love kissing right behind them. They are SO SOFT and totally have that incredible "baby smell"! One thing I love about his little ears.. is that through them.. he hears the voice of his mommy, his daddy, his big brother, his grandparents, and everyone who loves him. I love that he knows my voice. He looks for it when I am around. I love his little ears.
Bentley, Keeping in true fashion of our family, has HUGE hands! I love these hands. I love how his hands wrap so tightly around my finger. They are precious.
And lets not forget that beautiful baby hair. The thin, fine and oh so soft baby hair. It is amazing.
Both my boys are my life. All three of my guys actually. I cannot imagine not having them in my everyday life. Through thick and thin... I love that they belong to me. I love you Bentley Brian Reed.
And this one is my all-time Favourite picture of the week! I Love you Carter Herbert Reed.
Carter kisses are the BEST! Bentley had his 4 month checkup and shots on March 6th. So here are his stats! At 4 months old Bentley weighs 13 pounds 11 ounces. He is 24 1/2 inches tall and his head is 42.5 cm round!
Its hard not to compare my two boys when it comes to their stats! So just for fun.. at Carter's 4 month checkup.. he weighed 14 pounds 10 ounces.. he was 24 1/3 inches tall and his head was 43.5 cm round!
So although Bentley was bigger when he was born, Carter seems to be beating him a little.. although Bentley is still a tiny bit taller at the 4 month mark!
We also took our "Farm Furniture" out this past week... it never seems to disappoint.. Bentley loves it just like Carter did! This is Bentley at 4 months...
