Bentley's Blessing Day
Today my heart is full. There have been many moments in my life since I have become a Mother that my heart has been full. Today, my heart is full. Today was so special. Truly a remarkable day.
Today my baby Bentley was blessed. His blessing was at 11am. I had to wake him up this morning.... this little angel was sleeping so sound.
He wasn't really sure about waking up just yet... but after a few stretches...
and really forcing himself to wake up...
He had a few smiles for his Mommy. My heart melted instantly!
I fed him, bathed him, and got him dressed.. and boy of boy did he ever look Handsome!
I have really been looking forward to Bentley's blessing Day. We tried to do it a week ago, but I got so sick on Saturday night and so we had to cancel it on Sunday. But today it just felt right. It was the perfect day to share with my little guy!
I truly am over the moon with my little Bentley. He fills my heart!
We are those proud parents that always brag about their kids.. that say their kids are the best, the cutest and the most intelligent... yes that is us.. and we are only a little bit bias! Haha
It was special for me today because my family, including my grandparents who are still in town for a couple more days, were able to come. My Grandma wanted some pictures of Bentley first, so they came over this morning before we left to take a few pictures.

Brian performed Bentley's blessing this morning. It was beautiful. The spirit was so strong. My heart was pounding in my chest.. but it wasn't nerves.. it was excitement. So many things that Brian said to Bentley during the blessing will stick with me forever. He talked about Bentley's calm demeanour... how with it, he will be able to help others. He blessed him to become a worthy young man.. a boy who knows how much his Heavenly Father loves and cares for him.
He blessed him to find a choice young lady who he will love and she will love him, to be a good example to others and to serve a mission. Everything he said was perfect.
Bentley was so lucky to have so many people there at his Blessing, including all three sets of his great-grandparents, both sets of his Grandparents.. his aunties and uncles, cousins and friends. We are blessed.
Bentley Brian Reed, you make me so happy. Your every cry, your every cuddle, your coos and your smiles. I am in love with it all. I know that you were sent to us from Heaven and I know that you were meant for us. You have already taught us so much. Your such a great little brother and I know that although your big Brother Carter is still learning to love having you around, I know how much he loves you.. his kisses are genuine, and he often rubs your head as he says "nice" to you. He loves you!
Mommy & Daddy love you so much and everyday we thank Heavenly Father for you. Love you Bentley Brian Reed!
