37 Weeks and our Little Tiger!
WOW! Its finally here! Today I am 37 weeks and 5 days! F.U.L.L T.E.R.M!! Super exciting! I really been slacking lately on keeping my blog up to date and taking weekly photos which I am totally going to regret... but here I am at 37 weeks..
I cannot believe my belly is bigger than the pumpkin I'm holding.... weird! I have totally hit the stage where I feel like I can't get any bigger... At this stage in my pregnancy with Carter I weigh the same .. so thats alright I guess but Im trying to be more conscience of what I am eating these days because I know the more junk food I eat now.. the more running I will have to do later.. and that doesn't sounds very appealing to me! I am REALLY excited to get my body back though... and at 37 weeks I am feeling TONS of braxton hicks contractions ... wishing they were "the real deal" but I am also having so much pain in my pelvis... I NEVER felt like this when I was pregnant with Carter and I am really anxious to talk to my doctor about it tomorrow at our appointment. Sometimes, it hurts so bad I can't really walk... and when I try to I am completely hunched over .. its quite awkward to say the least. I hope my doctor has an answer for me. The heartburn has slowed down a bit which is SOOO nice but the nausea is still there at times. At our Last baby doctor appointment I was 1 cm dilated but nothing else was really happening sooo it made it sound like baby is going to be in there until at least his due date.. November 4th... Im secretly hoping he comes early so this pelvis pain will go away but I know baby will come only when he is ready!
I have really tried to enjoy as much as possible this pregnancy but I am totally at the end point where I just want to hold my new little guy. To see what he looks like... will he have lots of hair (as my heartburn maybe suggests)? Will he look like his big brother Carter? How much will he weigh... I am so excited about it all! In fact, I know I will be completely exhausted but I am even excited for the middle of the night cuddles with him! I can't wait to meet you Baby2!
For other news in our little Reed home, we are starting to get ready for Halloween! Fall is in full swing.. the house is being cleaned out... fall clothes, coats and boots are in are all up stairs and the pumpkin smell of candles burning makes our home feel so warm and cozy. This year for Halloween, Carter is going to be a Tiger! Thanks to his friend Lincoln for lending us his costume from last year!
I was nervous that it was going to rain and snow all week (even though the weather changes every hour.... clearly) so on Monday I ran out with Carter and my mom to take a few pictures of Carter's Halloween costume!
Hopefully I can get a few more before Halloween is over because Carter wasn't really into "pictures" this day... I took a ton but he was SO BUSY trying to push the pumpkins down the hill .. chasing them... and doing anything but looking at the camera that really just a couple pictures turned out ok lol...
.. oh yah and hugging trees was also so much more fun than smiling at the camera for a picture lol.. silly guy!
I am really excited for Halloween with Carter this year. Last year he wasn't walking and couldn't really say much more than Mama and Dada so this year will be so fun to take him door to door trick-or-treating... hopefully we are not in the hospital or that fun job will probably be with his Grandma & Grandpa.
Just over a week left before Halloween and we are so excited to see what these next few weeks hold for us.... hopefully another happy healthy baby and some really fun trick-or-treating!
