.8.Wonderful.Years.
Before I start my little love note, please be aware that it is full of Love, bliss and complete and utter romance! You have been warned.
The pictures I added are not the best quality but I don't have the digital copies. I keep them in picture frames going up my stairs and they are from when Brian and I were just 17 years old. So young and completely in love! One of my besties (Rachel (Craig) Campbell) took them for us so long ago and I have treasured them since.
So heres to yet another incredible year together!
On March 26th, 2012, Brian and I marked our 8 YEARS together! I wish so badly I could explain how in love I am with Brian. He truly is my life. I remember when he asked me to be his girlfriend like it was yesterday and I love replaying it it my mind. It still gives me butterflies.

I remember the look on his face and how completely in love I was with him already! I remember dating for just a few weeks and saying "I love you". I remember once we both said "I love you" for the first time... it was incredible.. and we haven't stopped saying it since!
"I love you" are my 3 most favourite words to say to Brian! We probably tell it to each other 30 times a day.. no joke! At least 4 times per conversation lol. I love looking back on our "young love" when we were just the tender age of 16 and I fall in love with that fact. I love that we were high school sweethearts. I love that even though we were counselled not to steady date at 16.. that we were so in love with each other that it seemed impossible not to be together.
Brian you are who I will love for the rest of my life and all eternity. You make me so happy! I love who we are today and that we have been through so much together! I love that we both shaped our lives around each other. I truly do feel your love every single day since the day you took me on our first date to the hockey game on March 21, 2004. I love that you picked me up in your blue beaten up Honda Accord and that you thought it was cool to have LED christmas lights stapled to the roof on the inside. I still remember walking into the saddle dome and wanted SO BADLY just to hold you hand but feeling like you should "make the first move" I love that we both cheered on the flames like we had done it together a million times before. I loved sitting on the edge of our seats and mocking the crazy lady (or man) who was sitting right behind us. But above all.. the best part of the date was when we were walking out to the car.. I was blabbing away and walked into a garbage can... I love this part because this is the moment you said you knew I was meant for you... I love this part because then you held my hand. My remember how perfectly my fingers fit into your hands.
I love you.

Since the moment I first laid eyes on you I knew you would be my forever. I would never have it any other way. You make my life full and complete. You are so respectful and compassionate. You are loving and caring and take care of me like nobody else in the whole world could do. You know me better than I know myself.
It takes true love to endure the tasks that life gives you. Everyday... though there are the stresses of the world around us... I fall more deeply madly in love with you. I love falling asleep beside you every night and waking up to a good morning kiss. You satisfy my every craving, my every want and everything I could ever want in my life.

I love you because you are you... nobody else. I love the confidence you give me and the small little late night chats. I love that I can cry on your shoulder and that you will wipe my tears. You are my rock and I am your forever.
To celebrate our 8 years together.. Brian took me to my favourite restaurant.. The Olive Garden! Yum! We took Carter out for dinner with us too and while he was really good in the restaurant.. getting home was a different story. lol. Then Mom & Dad Reed came over to watch him while Bri and I went to the movies! We went and saw The Hunger Games.. It was excellent!
And ofcourse I needed to make something sweet that had "8" of something.. so I made one of our favourites!

Yes, 8 chocolate covered strawberries and 8 chocolate covered raspberries! And a yummy fruit salad on the side!

I love you to the end of the earth Brian Reed and I promise to always hold you this tight. Happy 8 years! xxoo
