A Fun Weekend.

This past weekend was really fun.. and Really Busy!! Saturday was a good day hanging out with my sister and mom putting things together for my little nephew's baby blessing which was on Sunday. Saturday night we hung out with some friends and celebrated our friend Matt's birthday including the UFC fights and pizza... surprisingly I really enjoyed watching the fights... it was fun getting into it with everyone.. and well I may be a "jump on the bandwagon" type of girl.. but in the end it doesn't really matter.. it was so fun!

Sunday was a really special day. Taytum was blessed at church. A Beautiful prayer was said by his Daddy, Logan, and it truly was a special moment! Congratulations sweet Ausmus family. Taytum is a very Lucky little man!

Sunday afternoon was the Super Bowl! We were cheering for the NY Giants and enjoyed yummy sloppy joes & Sugar cookies...

... and all our friends that came over brought a little something yummy to share too.. it was a ton of fun with all our friends and all their kids... we had a very FULL HOUSE! And even though Taytum wasn't there.. he was still dressed all up in his fun football outfit ready to cheer for those Giants!

The weekend was really fun and I'm excited for more fun weekends to come! I am also VERY excited for Valentines day this year! Usually it seems like just another day to say "I am In Love with you" but this year I am going to make sure my Love Bri knows Exactly how much I love him! He truly is the best husband in the world and I am going to make that day special for him.. even if he works all day and has school at night!

In Carter news... he is GROWING FAST! Teething like a monster! He is getting so many molars and has a terrible bum rash from it!
And he can now say "Mama", "Dada", "Bweeze" (which is please), "Ba" (which is ball), "Ah Ah" (which is "Ohh Ohh"), and "yeshhhhh" (which is yes) and he can seriously understand so much! Its amazing to me the difference between 12 months and 14 months has made in his development. I love that he can play peek-a-boo, give us a high-five and when you ask him things like... where is your milk.. or where is your blankie.. he will go get them for you. Lately Carter and I have been working on "Where are your ears?" and "Where is your belly button?" and he has mastered them both! Now we are trying to work on "Where are your toes?".. lol.. still a work in progress! I love that he can point and say breeze when he sees something he wants and when I ask him to put his toys away he helps me to do it!

I love our little Carter so much! And Ok I am admitting I just TOTALLY bragged about my little guy for an entire paragraph but I never want to forget the fun things he does at 14 months old. He is my world and could never imagine life without him!
