Already 8 Months!

I cannot believe our little Carter is already 8 months and not so "little" anymore! So much has happened in the past 8 months, from holding his head up... sitting... grabbing toys... to crawling... eating solids... pulling himself up to the furniture and his new found adventure.... climbing the stairs! Yes thats right last Friday .. July 22nd... Carter was playing with our little puppy George and when George ran up the stairs (probably to get away from Carter lol) Carter just had to follow. I stayed right behind Carter incase he "missed his step" but low-and-behold little Carter made it up and got George. This is a bitter-sweet feeling for me. Fun to see him grow and try new things but scary that watching the stairs is apart of our daily routing now. I think its time for a baby gate!

Carter also got his two front teeth on Tuesday July 26th! So in 8 months he already has 6 teeth! He still LOVES eating... and likes to snack on dry rice crispies cereal! He is ALWAYS on the go! including when I am trying to get him dressed in the morning....

Getting Carter dressed went from taking 2 minutes to now taking 10 minutes because he NEVER wants to sit down!! The second that diaper is off .. he rolls and he is GONE!!

He adores playing with the monkey on his wall.. and he typically give me this look...

Which to me says.... "good luck trying to get that diaper back on me mom!" All kidding aside... this baby boy is my life. I could not live without him!

His smiles make my entire day! I love the way he curls his little toes and scrunches his face!

I love all of his many many expressions....

Happy 8 months Carter! Mom and Dad love you to the end of the earth.. and back!
