Sew what do you think?

Ok so, I am no seamstress.. however I would LOVE to be one! A couple of years ago my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law got me a sewing machine for my birthday! I LOVE IT.. i just need to learn how to make more than just receiving blankets and burpies. The other day when I was out, I spoted the cutest thing! You stick it on your shopping cart to keep baby busy! since Carter now LOVES sitting in the shopping cart.. I thought "this looks so cute but not worth $30 .. so... I'll try to make it!" Here is how it went...

First Carter and I went shopping for some cute fabric for the front side!

Put some Velcro on the backside...

Added some cute tags to the front...

Did a little trim and Voila!

So you just fold in longways around the shopping cart handle in front of baby and velcro it there.. you can stick rings and toys through the ribbon loops and this is said to keep baby busy while you shop!

I probably should have made mine about 1 inch wider so it would fit around the handbar and the second little bar that is closest to baby (so its tighter). Really cute idea... super cheep to make it and it was a fun little project!
