Seven Years and R.A.N.D.O.M things
First things first... 7 years ago (March 26th) Brian asked me to be his girlfriend! I know.. totally cheesy but when we were 16, it was considered "romantic". To celebrate our 7 years together we did not really have anything special planed other than to let Carter enjoy his first candlelit dinner with us. He sat in his bumbo chair.. on the table.. and was amazing.. a perfect dinner with our little guy! So if you know Bri and I ... you would know that we L.O.V.E 5 cent candies! So Carter and I decided surprised Bri with 7 candy shishcabobs!
I love you so much Brian Reed.. you are my E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G! I cannot even imagine life without you. You are my biggest support for everything and you honestly make me who I am. I hope Carter grows up to be just like you. To have your charisma and respect.. your love and your ... brains!
I love your G.U.T.S! I love that we have been together for so long and I am so excited to spend forever with you. You complete me babe. Xo
To finish off our night ...we got Carter in his new Jammies (thanks mom! aka: Grandma) and we enjoyed a wonderful (but stressful) flames game.. Carter was only able to watch the first little bit because then it was bedtime... but he was so good and such a cutie in his Flames jammies!
Even George loved his new flames Jammies...or maybe he just loves Carter..
Either way, we love our little guys and kisses are always given freely in our home!
Aside from kisses, we also have LOTS of "huggies" in our home!
In fact, this is the FIRST box of diapers i have ever bought! Yes thats right, we were given SO many diapers that we had enough to last us until.. now... 4 months with little Carter! Amazing! Thank you soo much to everyone who bought us diapers.. we lasted 4 whole months!
And speaking of 4 months.. today Carter had his 4 month shots... the nurse called him a "catalog" baby... perfect height, weight and head circumference for his age (of course we were so proud) Carter is now 24 and 1/3 inches tall and weighs 14lbs 10 oz! What a big boy! Love you Carter!
On to some more Random adventures... my sister had last Friday off and wanted a dose of Christina and Carter time so she came and got us and we went out on the town! I love when my sister gets the day off and she comes and gets us. Amanda and I have always been best friends (well not really before I was the age of 14 - she thought I was "annoying" .. little did she know lol) we just seem to "get" eachother and we are always looking out for one another.. she really is the best big sister I could have ever asked for. Love you Manda. Anyways... after driving around downtown trying to find parking for an hour just to go to TD Square.. we decided to drive up to CrossIron Mills... Manda and Carter has some wonderful "bonding" time.. since Carter has started playing strange with mostly everyone.. but this day was good and I know that he loves his auntie amanda...
Carter LOVED being at the mall, we bring him lots but this time he was wide awake... people watching.. but really who doesn't like people watching?!
We showed him the big fish and he was amused...
Carter and I watched Auntie Amanda show off her hunting skills.. pretty good I must say... I probably would need her if I ever got stuck in the wilderness...
We even found these amazing sunglasses that I think Carter really liked.. and clearly they were meant for Carter...
Also, if you haven't heard... The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (our church!) is getting a Temple! We are sooo excited! There is a beautiful Temple in Edmonton and one in Cardston.. where Bri and I were married but now there will be one in Calgary and we could not be more excited! On Monday Brian, Carter, Mom Reed and I all went out to see how the building of it was going...
WOW! So much has been done! The last time we were there they had only just broken ground.
Carter was so happy that Grandma Reed was able to come too...
Stay tuned for the next post.. we know CELEBRITIES!
