Out with the O.L.D, in with the N.E.W

In French, belle means beautiful. I started Bellefoto a few years ago, but now it's a little photographer trying to make it in a big world. My Wonderful Husband gave my previous website a "facelift" and it's fun to change it up once in a while! Thanks Bri you are amazing!

Before....

... and after...

To take a look, go to www.bellefoto.ca or find us on facebook. I love photography so much. There is just such beauty to it.. capturing ever moment that you can because in a split second, the moment is over, what better way to remember all of your special moments in life than a photograph. Pure Bliss.

In Carter's news. He is growing so fast! It really is unbelivable! He has his 4 month shots next week and I am not looking forward to it at all, but it will be fun to see how much he weighs now. During the days I just can't seem to keep him busy enough. He gladly goes in his Jolly-Jumper and playes on the floor during "tummy-time" but those few activities do not make up 8 hours of a day and although I can put him in his bumbo chair and he will watch me bake cookies or make dinner... I really can't make cookies everyday. So, because Carter is no longer interested in his swing.. at all.. I put that downstairs and started doing my research on an "exersaucer" .. I tried to find one at a second hand store to buy, but they all just seemed "to used" to my liking because I thought... if I'm gonna have to look at it everyday i better like the look of it right? WRONG!

Here's the thing. I took Carter to Babies R' us to pick out a "cute" exersaucer.. you know... one that would maybe match and look nice in my little living room... I put him in all of the display ones so he could "tell" me which one he liked the best and ofcourse... we come home with this...

The ugliest and most expensive one there! Honestly though I tried so hard to get him to like the other ones but it just wasn't the same as the ugly farm Laugh and Lean Jumper (and I know what your thinking... he is only 4 months.. he doesn't know the difference...but this little man is smart and he knows!)

When Carter gets really excited he makes a squeal.. kinda like a little dinosaur sound and in ALL the other exersausers and jumpers he just sat there... amused for 30 seconds and then would loose interest... but in this farm one... he squealed .. over... and over.. and OVER.

I guess this is my first reality check that I will not like ALL the toys my kids like and I will sometimes have to swallow my pride and just get the ugly toy... to bad I had to learn this the hard way lol. But seriously, who can resist that smile when you know he loves it so much?!

Ok so I know this thing doesn't look THAT bad in the pictures... but even my sister saw it in real life and her immediate reaction was "oh my gosh, this thing looks way uglier than I imagined it... so yes, it is THAT bad... but my little bean loves it.. and it's amazing what us moms purchase just to get a few things done around the house without a baby on your hip. Brian really doesn't think it looks THAT bad.. and I agree that they had good intentions.. a garden that teaches the baby "tomato" "corn" "carrot"...

Some ducks swimming in a dome of colorful beads..

And a book of farm animals... of course.

It also sings songs and lights up and there are other toys on it too that Carter has not seemed to notice just yet...

But Carter loves this new contraption, so... Laugh and Learn Farm... welcome to the family!
