35 Weeks, A small update..

Soo Halloween??

Although we did decorate our home.... a little...

I can not believe it came and went. Bri and I (I shamefully admit) were total halloween hermits, we had all these fantastic ideas.. but on the day we were so exhusted, that we really didn't do any of our fun ideas. Sad! However, now i am E.X.T.R.A excited for next halloween, no more excuses, we will have a 11 month old little boy and we will be sure to dress him up and celebrates the Candy holiday!

Now its time to get ready for Christmas.. honestly the most wonderful time of year. (And I know what your thinking.... Halloween and Christmas in the post...) But this year we are even more excited because we will have our little son to celebrate it with and start a family tradition of new pajamas every Christmas Eve (classic tradition but honestly who doesn't like new Pj's) . I am excited for Candy-canes, snuggles with my son and lying by the fire with Brian with the Christmas tree lights in the background. Ahhh... only 53 days to go!

On another note.... do you know Philip Bloom (http://philipbloom.net/ - really cool blog, check it out) - Bri describes him as the genius who basically invented videography with a Canon. Well, to Brian's surprise, Philip was in town on Monday night and Brian got to meet up with him, talk cameras and put a blog to a face. He had fun.

Funny Story...Bri was SUPPOSED to be in class until 9pm on Monday night and then he was going to meet up with him later... but at 7pm my phone rang.. and it was Brian... "babe.... my teacher is only teaching for half of the class tonight, so I am done and on my way to see Philip Bloome".... Hummm.... what a coincidence that his teacher "is only teaching for half of the regular time" on the same night that Philip Bloome is in town..... lol... I love you Brian... even if you pull a little white lie here and there lol.

Well we only have 4 and a half weeks to go. We are 35 & 1/2 weeks now and S.O E.X.C.I.T.E.D! Our little Jelly Bean now weighs about as much as a Honeydew Mellon (apparently) not so much a Jelly Bean anymore. We have been so blessed to have such a healthy pregnancy.

We got this Adorable tie from Mai-li, Rachel and Iwalani. Thank you guys so much! It will be perfect with a little button up shirt. Brian picked out the shoes... baby Vans, good choice Bri.. he will be so stylin'.

As for me, I've been feeling ok, it is so hard to sleep at night but it is good preparation for Baby. By the end of the work day I am so tired. I woke up in the middle of the night last week and my belly was "tightening" the doctor said it was just Braxton Hicks contractions... totally normal. And I can really feel him getting a little heavier with each week that passes. He likes to stick his little foot out of my right side and you can totally see his little heel, it's so cute.

Brian and my mom ( without knowing the other had made a guess on the baby's birthday) both guess that Baby Reed will be born on November 22, 2010, or that I will at least go into labor on the 22nd. (That is 2 & 1/2) weeks early and only 2 & 1/2 weeks away... scary but exciting too. I guess we will see if they are right!

Well heres to Week 35, Mom and Dad Love you Baby Reed.
