Fast.Forward.

Well another two weeks have passed... and fast! So much has happened. From date nights to doctors appointments to false labor and more... here is a little update of our little Reed home. First... lets start off with a much needed date night.

Sometimes life can get so busy and pass so fast that we forget or "don't have time" to embrace what we have when we have it. Our date night was noting glamourous but we decided to take a night, turn off our phones and ... just be together! It was perfect! We decided on a Mexican Night...

Taco Salad, Nachos with lots of salsa and sour cream!

The best part of the night though was really just taking the time to be together... just the two of us... completely in love. And although was understand we will not get to many more date nights.. just the "two" of us.... we are excited to share our fun adventures with our little son too!

We finished off our wonderful dinner by sharing a little bowl of vanilla bean ice-cream with an added complement of Smarties. Delicious!

Next topic... 36 Weeks...

It came and it went.. thank goodness! This was a hard week. I was so sick and Brian was exhausted from his crazy school project and trying his best to help his Wife in the middle of the night puking. Yes that's right.... at 36 weeks, I am still sick but this week was bad. I woke up twice from puking in my sleep! I didn't even realize that was possible. T.M.I you thinking? Try living through it. Suckie! I was so happy once we were passed this week. However, before I go on. Do you remember my post about my unfortunate new "baby tattoos" or "stretchmarks"? Well i am extatic to report that although having "Baby Tattoos" sounds sweet, I am happy that they are GONE! Honestly, gone.

The remarkable "Tummy Butter" that i previously posted about is honestly remarkable! I have zero baby tattoos left (knock on wood)! Try it! It was/is amazing! I am a true believer! I did do the Bio Oil for a bit but for me the Tummy butter worked the best.

Well, Christmas is fast approaching.. are you ready? I have finished my shopping and wrapping but I am just trying to figure out one little thing for my mom... so technically I am not totally done. On the Reed's side of our family we have a tradition to make homemade chocolate at grandma Reed's house. Amazing!

Grandma Reed and a few others went over to make the inside fondants and then on Remembrance Day the rest of us all went over to help make them, pack them, eat them and of course... take some home.

Once all of the chocolates are done, we separate the flavors into separate boxes and the family circles around and around Grandma Reed's table and puts the chocolates into little trays.

Then on to Dad Reed and Uncle Ken for the Wrapping-Job! Honestly quite a talent... expecially when you are trying to keep up with 114 trays of chocolates...

We counted and I do believe we had 114 trays, and on average there was about 13 chocolates per tray.. so that would be around... 1,482 chocolates! You are amazing Grandma Reed, this is a tradition that will be passed on generation through generation... guaranteed!

Well... we are now at 37 weeks. F.U.L.L. T.E.R.M! How exciting.. just 3 weeks to go, but if our jelly bean decides to come sooner it will be perfectly safe... but we pray he does not go passed his actual due date of December 5th!

And of course we cannot forget about George.... ohh George...

I am not really sleeping at night much anymore... which I'm sure will be a blessing when Baby Reed comes and I am sort of in a routine of waking up 6 times every night already. Our last Baby doctor appointment was on Nov. 12. 10. It went well. Lately I have really been experiencing a lot of cramping and discomfort. Our doctor said it is totally normal and just "false labour" Sometimes it hurst so bad that I cannot breath and you can see my tummy get all tight... I wonder what the real thing will be like... S.C.A.R.Y! But at least the real thing will have a tremendous blessing as an outcome! Our doctor also said that we are 1cm already! Which was such good news however some women are 1cm at 36 weeks and will end up going right to the due date or past it.. so we are trying not to give our hopes up.

As for work, I had my last day on Friday (Nov.12) it was exciting but I will miss all of the girls at work, we have had some seriously funny times in our office.

I have LOVED being a legal assistant and at first family law was really hard and depressing... but you get used to it I guess. I loved that I learned something new everyday and worked with amazing people.. but i guess for the next year I will be a stay-at-home mom and I cannot wait!
