First time for everything...
Well I must start off by saying that I love blogging... for us.... It's a perfect way to record the good, the bad, and even the sad everyday things that.. well lets face it.. we all have. This post is not good... well not bad though either.
Here it goes.
I am 29 weeks.. only 11 weeks to go! Which is Fabulous! BUT (there is usually a "but") yesterday, i noticed my very first stretch mark.... sad! I honestly thought I could beat the odds if i used baby oil EVERYDAY... i guess not. Here is how it went.
I cried. Poor Brian got home from school and there i was pink eyes with crocodile tears... humiliating! Brian tried to comfort me.. but if you've every been pregnant, puked almost everyday you know all we pregnant girls have hormones that .. make us emotional.
But because Brian does not give up that fast, we went to bed happy. I smiled. Thank you babe!
So i had a good chat with my mom.. who had the best pregnancies known to man kind (no sickness, no stretch marks, no nothing... just "glow") and she helped me too.
We came to the conclusion that they are really just "Baby-Tattoos".
So even though.. I admit.. I now have the stretch marks i tried so hard to stay away from, i will TRY to embrace them as a little marking of our little Jelly Bean!
All i pray for is that he will be healthy and safe in the next 11 weeks to come.
Now that I got the worst of the "journaling" done.. here goes the update.
This past weekend was F.u.n! We finally got our baby stroller.. the one we wanted.. Valco Baby. It is AMAZING and we LoVe it! We also put organizers in the Baby's closet which is very cute and Fun.
Like I said, we are now 29 weeks which means that Baby Reed is about 16.7 inches! They say, babies will grow really fast between week 29 and 36 and then they will slow down (also "they" say that boys usually weigh more than girls at birth..... Danger!) Baby is now about 2 and 1/2 pounds and he moves tones.. mostly at night time.
A few things I am loving at week 29...
I can not wait to see our little miracle. I admit, I am tired of being pregnant. Not complaining though, I am grateful that I have been blessed with this wonderful opportunity.. i am just excited to meet Baby Reed... to Hold him skin to skin, to kiss little cheeks and to tell him that mommy and Daddy love him so much.
I am excited to hold him for the first time, to take him home, and to fall in love.
