Back to School... Back to Reality

Well it's that time again... where everyone goes back to school, buys new clothes and lets face it its only fun for the first week. I know I'm totally going to be a mom who misses there kids when they go back to school after summer is over.

Brian started school tonight too.. back to the books... back to the grind for the next 8 months. I miss him being at home with me in the evening already and its only Day 1! Sad! But i must say... he is amazing... he is supporting our little family by working full time and going to school 3 nights a week. What an incredible Husband! I love you Brian.

So on my first night without my love I thought I would do a little update... I cleaned the house (boring) Made lunches (boring).. and Gave George a Bath..... (Not Boring!!)

George loves the water so it's really not a pain to give him a bath.. Thank Goodness. We really love him!

I guess its a Welcome to the 3rd Trimester! WOW..... That went fast and I still feel like I have so much of my Baby checklist to do. Only two and a bit months left until we meet our little Baby Boy.

I . simply . am . so . excited !

Baby Reed is now about 2.5 pounds and around 15.5 inches! He moves ALL of the time... in fact if you stare at my belly now you can watch him move.... and we love it. Brian is always feeling move and when baby kicks brian.. Brian smiles.. its cute!

Last week I had my Glucose blood test done... this was not pleasant! I sat for an hour, then had to drink this Orange sugar drink that felt like i was drinking gasoline.. (i don't know what was worse.. drinking it and the after taste or trying not to puke it up after i got it down). The nurse watches you drink it... to make sure you don't cheat i guess. Then you sit for another hour. No gum, no water... nothing. Once your hour is up, they take your blood test. If your glucose levels are high.. then you have to go back and drink it 3 times in a row waiting 1 hour between each drink. This is my nightmare!

Today I had to go to the doctors to get my Rhogam shot. (i guess this happens at 28 weeks if you and your husband's blood type don't match). I had the choice to have the shot in the butt or the arm.. i chose the arm.. who wouldn't?! The Nurse told me my glucose test came back normal. THANK GOODNESS!!!

So this means.. until baby is born NO MORE SHOTS!

As for Cravings... I don't think I have any really specific ones.. although I have had a "Sweet-Tooth" lately, but nothing specific.. really just anything sweet like... ice cream.. chocolate.. or ice cream with chocolate sauce lol.... or even some good old fashion Sour Patch Kids.

As for Baby Reed and his adorable baby things... "Uncle Steven" (My amazing brother-in-law) brought Brian and I two of the coolest looking baby shoes ever!

Next summer Baby Reed is going to be stylin' thanks to his Uncle Steve! Thanks Steven Your the Best!

Ps. Steven... why didn't you buy me new shoes when we met?
