a.BIG.thanks

Well this post.. is for YOU! For all the followers of our blog. For all of the Tips and Tricks this past week...

A huge thanks to my girlfriends who gave me some good tips on "Baby-Bellies" including my mom and sister who brought over some fantastic lotion called "Tummy Butter" it is so soft and it smells so great.. so I've been using it for almost a week, day and night, and its wonderful!

Also my girlfriend from Work brought me some Bio-Oil (which I hear works wonders before and after baby). I got it today so I will try it out and see how it goes! Nodira you are the best! Thank you so much!

I am so happy to say.. WE ARE 30 WEEKS!! Only 10 weeks left until we get to meet our little Jelly Bean! Oh are we ever excited! This week baby is about 17 inches long (from the top of his head to his toes) and weighs about 3 pounds! Now is when the "Real" growing starts!

Our Jelly Bean is constantly moving around, we can now feel when he pushes his little foot or elbow out ... he even makes my tummy go lopsided when he changes positions. We have our next doctors appointment this Thursday September 30, 2010, and we will get to hear his little heart beat again.. music to my ears. We love you Jelly-Bean!

We had a fun expieriance this week... remember George...

Well, usually if he sits on my lap pressed up against my belly and the baby moves, he growls .. just a little growl... (little does he know in 10 weeks what will be coming home with us lol)

Anyways, this Sunday I was sitting on the couch and he came to sit with me...he jumped up and we said "is that the baby George? (Pointing at my belly.... i know we are so lame).. but then... he kissed my belly and lied down with his face against it...

Totally not like George.. even when the baby moved.. he didn't even growl!! I wonder if he can hear baby's heart.

As for the our Jelly Beans room... we got some wonderful tips from Brian's Sister, Becky! We were originally going to try to find a cute dresser... But a dresser with 4 drawers does not really make sense when you have a new little one at home... this is why... he has so many little things like.. socks, sleepers, onesies, pants, shirts, shoes.. the list goes on.. so wouldn't it make more sense to have an organizer with lots of little slots for all of his different things than to be searching through a a big drawer. I think I agree. Thanks Becky!

So... off we went to Ikea and purchased these fun organizers...

This is on one half of the closet.. they are not quite done yet because I want to get some cute vinyl lettering and write "Onesies" "Socks" etc on each box. And the best part about it is you can just peel them off once they don't apply (in a few years of-course)

Also, this bag here is my very favorite... and I've tried so hard to keep it in good shape for this exact reason... A baby Bag! Cute huh!

I am excited it has all the "baby bag compartments" but it is already warn-in and amazing. What better reason to use your favorite bag than on your new favorite little guy!

And as for Brian and I ... I fall in love with him everyday still.. he is my best friend and i am his, we are like peanut butter and jelly, marshmellows and chocolate, smiles and laughs... we always stick together. And the best part about Brian is that his hands fit perfectly into mine.
