My Love Celebrated a Birthday on CanaDa Day! Yes thats right.. he shares a birthday with our beautiful Country! Lucky. Brian's Birthday is really one of my favorite days of the whole year! I LOVE making him smile.. and even surprising him!

I got up a bit early and made him.... very creatively ... Dinosaur French Toast! Breakfast in bed.. Classic way to start your birthday. I. LOVE. you. Bri!

I HAD to give him his birthday gift right away... if you only knew the amount of little white lies i had to do to keep this a surprise, you would be proud!

Here is the background... Brian wanted this video microphone FOREVER! But I had bought it a few weeks earlier and he kept saying "please please babe can we please go and get the mic while they still have it in stock?!" And he didn't just say that but imagine a full grown guy saying that to you with him arms around you with suckie little puppy eyes, bitting his right bottom lip and trying SOOO hard to make you say yes! IT. WAS. HARD! I almost gave in, but i played it up... and it was worth it!

I ran out of time to make a birthday cake.. soo.. i resorted to a cereal cake lol.. A Rice Krispie Cake! I know, sad attempt... but it worked out so well.. he smiled.. we laughed and it was perfect.

We got in our Canada Day clothes and set off for the day to celebrate! We ate at the Keg for dinner and enjoyed eachothers company until the stars were out! What a perfect day. I love you so much Brian.

Now for the Baby Update! We are exactly 18 weeks and 5 days.. I honestly can not believe just how fast this is going.. even though I am still sick... which seems crazy and exhausting but it is Worth it!

On Monday July 12, 2010, we get to find out if we are having a baby boy or a baby girl... If baby cooperates of course (baby better cooperate) ! We will keep you posted!

Baby Reed is now the size of a Sweet Potato! WOW... my belly is growing and growing.. and its exciting. Sure I feel like a whale.. but a "Mommy" Whale so its ok. Haha.

This week was exciting! I can feel Baby Reed move around!! What an amazing feel... Our little baby letting me know he/she is there and growing. I love the feeling. So Peaceful. So loving. So real.. I love you Baby Reed.

This week we bought our Baby Crib! My Mother-in-law found it at Costco, and it was just what we were looking for only for a better price! How exciting to have a crib. When we brought it home Brian goes "Ok lets set it up" lol... i laughed. We still need to paint and put up a wall that will divide our baby room from our office. But i am so happy that he is as excited as i am!

So much to do, So little time.
