Welcome to the second Trimester

Well it's been far to long since my last post.. sorry. The last few weeks have been very hard but very rewarding. At first I tried to not throw up at all... then I tried to to only throw and still be able to count in one one hand.. then two hands.. and now i've almost surpassed three hands, so much for this goal setting. 13 times is the unfortunate number BUT i will have amazing stomach muscles by the time I'm done if anything. Any yes, I am taking the "wonderful diclectin" I tried to stop and that was a disaster so ... I am back on it and im trying my best to "keep it down".

Baby Reed is growing fast.. we are already on to week 14 (our Second Trimester!)

Week 13 was a sad week.. I was able to experience what it was like to pull over... puke on the side of the road (during rush hour) drink some water, get back in the car and force myself to drive to work. Our little baby sure never lets me forget that he/she is there, that's forsure.

Now that we are on to week 14, baby is now the size of a lemon! "They say" i should start to feel more energetic now and get the "glow" that every pregnant lady loves. I am excited.

I woke up this morning and saw more rain clouds, more wind and yes more face in the toilet bowl, but I feel blessed. Who could not with such a beautiful blessing on the way and a wonderful Husband who always seems to understand, hold my hair back and say countless prayers that my belly will start to feel better. I am the luckiest Wife in the world.

This week we get to hear our baby's heart beat, I have been anticipating this since week 6 when we first found out we were pregnant. What a joyous moment that will be. We will also be able to hear if it is just one little heart beat or Two... I will keep you posted. Although the first trimester was hard (and i definitely do not want to do it any time soon again) I really do count my blessings. We decided to go and take a few "3 month" maternity pictures. I even have a small baby bump.. might as well cherish the moment.

And Hunny here is a little note just for you Bri-Guy.

I know you read this blog each time i do a post and I want you to know how much I LOVE YOU! You have no idea how much you have helped me over the last few months and I am so grateful that our children are going to have a Daddy like you!

I know at times I'm a little grouchy and feel chubby too,
But you have no idea how much you always pull me through.

From cravings to puking, baby shops and more,
You are always the first one to open up my door.

You will be the best daddy i know this to be true,
We just have to find out if our baby will be Pink or Blue.

(I know, I Know... totally cheesy.. but what can I say... true love is so cheesy!) I love you sweetheart with all that I am.
