Thump Thump... Thump Thump..
Ok, so it has been WAY to long since my last post... sorry! We are in week 15, just shy of week 16 actually and LOVING IT (sorta lol). I think I am getting to that "I feel like a Whale stage" and "none of my clothes fit" the "I am soo sick" and lets not forget the "oh my gosh.. we slept in AGAIN". Yes I'm sure you have heard it all.. and I am feeling it all. But I just think forward to how much I am going to love holding that little bundle of joy in my arms and feel the world go around with our little family standing still. Love. Serenity. Peace. and pure baby.
Time is flying soo fast! Although I still feel like we have Everything to do before our little Jelly-bean gets here... there Stroller. Bedding. Crib. Nursery.... the list goes on. However if you are expecting or even just expecting to buy a new stroller sometime soon.. Brian and I have been research maniacs and we L.O.V.E the Valco Baby Stroller!
I am seriously converted to a three-wheeler! They are AMAZING and because Bri and I love going for walks in fishcreek and elbow falls.. this stroller will do the trick without stuck tires and a way smoother ride for Baby!
Now as for the Sickness update... Well good news and bad news... i have not puked for 5 days straight! (I am on a streak!) And all thanks to these....
So they look totally weird.. i kinda feel like a poser but honestly its worth it! I still feel nauseated but at least i have been able to keep it down.... They are pressure point bracelets that are super tight and itchy but they take away the worst of it! And the best part... they are only $13.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Try it!
At almost 16 weeks baby is about 5 and 1/2 inches ( a bit bigger than a baseball) and between 16 and 20 weeks I should be able to feel baby moving. When we heard our baby's heart beat last friday baby was moving and jumping it was so cool... and although I can not feel it yet I am excited to experience that too! It felt like F.o.r.e.v.e.r before we got to hear our little baby's heart go "thump thump.... thump thump" but it was worth the wait. Take a listen... this is our future bundle of joy, our little jelly bean (15 weeks)!
What an amazing experience that was.. and yes.. we did only hear just one. Maybe twins next time. When I heard the little heart i felt so much love and joy.. a totally new kind of love.
I am Happy. I am grateful. I am gonna be a mommy!
