Heres a toast to week 11

Date. Graduate. Mission. College. Marriage. Rent. Mortgage. Mexico. Legal Assistant. College. Dates. Anniversaries..... we really are living the "white picket fence" life.

And yes if you guessed it... Brian and I are planning on adding to our "White picket fence" life really soon. WE ARE EXPECTING! We have been so blessed in our lives. I married my best friend.. he really in my prince charming, and i know he will be a wonderful daddy.

So, lets rewind and get everyone up to date..

We found out about baby reed on Sunday April 11, 2010. Actually Brian was at a church meeting when i... yes.. peed on the stick. I looked at it right away and.... one line "not pregnant" so i left it and went on the computer for a minute... i realized that i had not put it in the garbage so i went back about 5 minutes later to throw it out and there it was.. a faint little second line .. i honestly probably took about 5 double checks!

When Brian got home from his meeting i was trying sooo hard not to smile (to much) ... we got into bed and i secretly had the pregnancy test behind me. I looked into his eyes and I said... "hunny... i did somehting wrong" Bri says "Its ok.. tell me" I replied... " I took a pregnancy test without you and this time it said PREGNANT!" (we had taken A LOT in the past and you could say we were used to seeing .."not pregnant" lol). Brian seriously jumped out of bed so fast and said.. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? with a HuGe smile on his face. It was an amazing moment... one to remember forsure.

Little did we know we were already 6 weeks pregnant when we found out and Baby Reed was only the size of one little sprinkle.

At Six weeks... not to much... a rush of excitement.. we really did not know what to expect... but first things first.. we set up an appointment with our family doctor. Dr. Barr... What a great guy!

On went to week 7 - At the start of this week Baby was 4 to 5 mm and by the end of the week it has more than doubled to 11 to 13 mm.... Growing FAST! (I still did not have to much sickness but i was really really tired!)

Week 8 - Sick Sick SICK.. let the games begin. Baby Reed grew to the size of Pinto Bean. I didn't even really know what a Pinto Bean was until I did my research.

Week 9 - Baby Reed is now the size of a medium size green Olive.. (yuck) This week was for sure a SICK week. i had my first experience of not being able to keep my breakfast down and it really is true that you have a "heightened sense of smell" .. I would get sick just thinking about dirty dishes in the sink or the garbage.

Week 10 - Baby is now the size of a Plum! The sickness just gets worse.. not really better. this week was a bad one.. i puked two times. It really is sorta like the flu but after you loose your stomach you really don't feel any better.
We are now in our "Week 11" and so far so sick! But we are blessed and excited that this sickness is for a wonderful reason.. not just because your sick. It really is worth it. My clothes are tight and my stomach feels bloated, but I could not be more happy. This week baby is growing to the size of a Lime...

So If you are wondering all of the details... we are due on December 5, 2010. We get to hear the baby's heart beat on June 11, 2010 and sometime at the beginning of July we will get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl (and it is certain that I wont be able to keep a secret so you will be sure to know).

I will keep you posted on how our growing family is doing on our blog.

Heres a toast to week 11!
