"Porkie-Pie"

Well yet another excited day in the Reed home... today was George's 4th Birthday and we made sure to Celebrate!

I am sure that George was thinking ..." humm i don't really know what the heck "your birthday" means but i wish it was "your birthday" EVERYDAY!" So much attention!

Well because it was his 4th birthday (which is really 28 years in dog age) I will tell you 28 things i love about George... ready... take a deep breath the list is long but easy...

he is cuddly, sweet, loud, gives Lots of kisses, knows how to sign (seriously), knows how to smile, is protective of me, knows when i am sad, that he knows who "Santa Clause" is, loves to swim in the lake, always keeps me company, falls asleep sitting up, watches Lady and the Tramp, cries when Lady cries, digs out the ground he pees on, i love that his two favorite treats are ice cubs and lettuce, that he sleeps in his own bed and NOT in ours, that he will fall asleep when we give him a haircut, that he gets embarrassed easily, that his tongue is to big for his mouth so it ALWAYS sticks out, that he eats bugs and chases bunnies outside, that he has "little dog syndrome" , that he doesn't beg for food at the table, that he loves car rides, that he shows you his bone every time you walk through the door, that he wore his party hat for the without crying (lol), that he can always make you have a better day and that he is a Good Boy!

I know... I sound like the "crazy dog lady" but thats ok... right now George is like our baby and boy is he spoiled. As for the rest of the party..... we sang "Happy Birthday"... Ofcourse... and george drowned us out with his crazy sining...

He had a cookie (for the "cake")... and really was lickin his chomps!

HAha this was so funny.. he wanted the cookie so bad he tried to take a chomp with the candle on it... good that i was faster than him.. but close.. after we gave it to him.. he went straight upstairs and walked around with it in his mouth for 15 minutes until we "convinced" him to eat it... seriously he is the only dog i know that will honestly "savor" every moment of a treat.

Then for the gift... well we found this totally wierd ball thing..

He was not sure about it and really only played with it for 2 minutes then he got his new bone and the rest of the night was history.. he hid upstaires and ate his bone.

Until next year... I am so glad we have George he really does make our little family just that much better! Happy Birthday Porkie-Pie!
