Kobe is FIVE!

 Kobe just had his "Golden" birthday! He turned 5 on August 5th and boy did we celebrate! Im pretty sure we all wished him Happy Birthday 250 times. 

Kobe's birthday was all kind of glorious for him! He had nap after nap, cuddled up into everyones blankets. When Brian got home from work we took Kobe to Sandy Beach to swim! Theres this little beach area for dogs. There were two dogs there when we arrive and Kobe made quick friends but also kept to himself. Maybe embarred by his skinny legs that were totally saturated with water. 

Kobe has never swam before so this was his first time and he was a natural! Yay Kobe! 

We stared off shallow and then deep and Kobe swam the whole time! Was excited and happy to go back in (until he was completely obviously not into it anymore lol). The kids went down stream a little so they could catch him if he got tired. So so many smiles and giggles were had. 

We love this sweet pup so much and are so glad he is ours! 

After swimming we got in the van and headed for ice cream! A real fancy treat for our pup. He of course only had a few licks but man was he happy about it! 

The fun didn't end there. When we got home we gave Kobe his birthday gift. A stack of costco themed toys. He was SUPER excited it!! 

Happy 5th Birthday Kobe-Bear!! We love you to pieces!!
