Magic

 After the busiest season of photography I've had to date, I took a couple of weeks to soak in the moments, like this one, that were passing me by. While I rushed from shoot to shoot and school pick up and activities and more shoots, I longed for these little, seemingly simple, moments so so much. So, for the last two weeks I have been soaking them in and enjoying them more than ever before! 

We've got Christmas movies playing, the fireplace on, never ending chocolate eating and loving these warm cozy moments during the holidays. It really is just the best! 

In not so lovely news.. Canada Post is the 2024 Christmas Grinch. They've been on strike for a month with no end in sight. So our Christmas Card collection for 2024 is so depressing. I drove around for 2 hours last week dropping off as many Christmas cards as I could but I have a whole stack that won't be able to go in the mail, which honestly, feels kinda sad. I love getting Christmas cards and hanging them up for the season. 

We can't even mail our letters to Santa this year so we're telling Clyde our Santa wishes instead ;) 

Enjoying this season and although it feels impossible I really am trying to recognize more of the calmness than the chaos of the season.
