A little bit extra

 We have had such a fun week as we limp across the finish line to our fall break. With tired eyes and never enough gas in the tank, we have officially made it to fall break and I cannot be happier about it! 

BUT! Before we move on.. I NEED to document this awesome opportunity Penny got this week! She and her basketball team got to play at half time of the woman's MRU basketball game. Penny was ELATED and couldn't wait to do this! Like, what a cool opportunity. She crushed it and came out with all the fire!

It was so fun to see how excited she was about this moment. I wasn't there to see her in person because I was with Carter at Volleyball zones in Strathmore BUT Brian is amazing, took a whole video for me to watch our girl AND all these countless photos. I am so grateful he did that! Love you Penny!! Way to go girl!!

Bentley also had some allergy testing done where we found out he is allergic to cats (phew lol) and isn't digesting high amounts of sugars. Sounds worse than it is and should be pretty easily fixed with probiotics so we're onto that.

Penny and I have been matching little besties this week too.. nothing like a bedtime sweat suit to fill all your comfort needs!

And last Wednesday was officially "take your grade 9 kid to work" day so Carter got to experience a day in the life of his Dad at work! He helped in the shop and hung out all day but his favourite part was driving a quad around with old tires to drop off in the garbage bins... especially fun as a 13 year old who can't actually drive yet. 

It has been a fun week but Im ready to set up the Christmas Tree and invite calmer days and evenings over this week fall break that we get. Im anxious to take a deep breath, reset and enjoy a calmer schedule this coming week.
