Back Country

Brian, Tyler and Matt get to live out their favourite weekend every year and I am happy for them. The excitement they have really is unmatched. They anticipate it for months. Brian has all his stuff set out in our main living room for weeks adding to it day by day. I miss him so much but I know how important this weekend is for him and it truly makes me so happy to send him off on an adventure he loves so much. He always comes home (me running into his arms) feeling refreshed and happy. Brian and Tyler left after work on Thursday. Ty met at our place, they loaded up and headed out to pick up Matt.

I don't think the three of them got any photos all together (selfie guys.. common..) but they were GREAT about taking photos (which I LOVE!). Although I cannot recount their entire weekend because details are being given by men.. what I do know is that camp was awesome, Brian wasn't cold at night and he caught 5 fish! Everyone caught fish too but not sure the whole amount. The fireban ended 10 minutes before the got out of cell phone range (what a win!) and they enjoyed every moment of their weekend out together in the bush!

They got home Sunday evening and told me how awesome it was. I just felt relief that they didn't get eaten by a bear. Another successful year in the back country.
