Moments.

These are the moments that are worth freezing. Yesterday both our boys were ordained in Church. Bentley became a deacon and Carter a Teacher. Bentley received the priesthood and it was special to be there in that moment with him. So proud of these boys and their excitment for the young mens program. Grandpa Reed came to be apart of Bentley recieving the priesthood and it was so special. Bentley has been so beyond excited to pass the sacrament. He says it just feels so normal and that he thought the water would be heavier.. turns out, its not! Haha funny guy. He has been loving being there to pass the sacrament each time. Carter has had the opportunity with preparing the sacrament. It feels extra tricky to get to church early when our ward starts at 9am.. pray for us, its only just the beginning of the year lol. Carter was also called to be the president of the Teachers Quorum. He accepted the calling and I know will be a great president for the kids his age. I am so so proud of these two boys. Not only are they exceptional kids but we are constantly getting compliments of their personalities. We are so honoured to be their parents.
The weather has been so cold so the boys hanging out with friends from down the street has been indoors, playing video games.
And with the cold weather Penny has been loving on her dollies extra. Cuddles and bottles and leaving me with a babysitting job list during the day while shes at school. BE STILL MY HEART!! She is the sweetest little dolly mama in the world!
Last weekend I hosted my new years minis and they turned out great. I love having this little side-gig for myself and my family. I welcomed clients into our home and took some black and white portraits of their cute cute kids and really enjoyed it so much.
However, maybe my favourite was our Penny. She had a vision of black and white photos of her dance moves that she has been working on and we made her vision come to life and I LOVE it!! What a creative little girl and what perfect dancing treasures to have!
And! When all was said and done, I left my paper backdrop up and let the kids doodle. In retrospect, I wish I dropped what I was doing and took the time to doodle with them.. if I could go back in time, I would do that but alas... instead I took a few cute photos. If it was a video though you would hear them bickering and fighting about how much space everyone was taking up.. not everything is as sweet as a picture makes it seem.. but their final photos when they walked away.... those were pretty sweet and worth saving in this moment.
And behind all the scenes of everyday life and the chaos of it all is this nearly perfect man holding us all together like the super glue he is! Love you babe, and wouldn't want to crush this life with anyone but YOU!
