No in between
Oh my goodness, it feels like this phase of life is in hyperspeed and Im strugging to do the things I once had time for. like documenting our day to day is becommming so far in between that it nearly doesn't exsit anymore. I cherish this space so much. I love reading about our past that slipped through our fingerstips and am always so grateful for record that we've kept so although it feels like im only documenting the big stuff, all the in between is still so important and I need to find time for it.
I remember doing operation tooth fairy for the first time with Brian. Oh my goodness, we were so excited. We snuck in, heart racing and made magic happen for Carter so many years ago.
Well, yesterday, Carter lost his very last baby tooth. His tooth fairy days are over just like that. It helps lessen the blow of a phase ending when we still have a few more opportunities with Bentley and Penny and for that I am grateful because both their baby teeth are falling out at a rapid rate. Penny lost another one just a couple of weejs ago! We have been living and loving neighbourhood friends coming over daily to play basketball until its too dark to see. Like, this is the best life! And Bentley has been SO excited baout grade 6 band and he has been bringing home his instrument and playing it and figuring it out. Brian is literally a man of all trades and showing him how to play. He impresses me every single day. We are so lucky and the in betweens are so lovely. I hope our kids will remember that life isnt just about the biggest joy that make life so beautiful but also the tiny inbetweens that have just as much beauty and happen more often then we think.
