Garden City Champions!

CONGRATS to our Bentley!!! This past weekend he competed in the Southern Alberta Garden City Basketball Tournament and swept all the teams!

We left school early on Friday and drove out to Magrath for the tournament. We didn't really know what to expect but knew regardless it would be fun.

They played the Lethbridge Jr. Rams on Friday night and mercied them. Clean sweep. They played so great! Watching Bentley's basketball development skyrocket this year has been so fun! We are so proud of you, Bentley!
We spent Friday night with the team on a rooftop patio for dinner and then the hotel pool to play!
While the team swam, Carter and I hung out wacthing shows in our room since he finds himself breaking out in hives every time in a hotel pool, it didn't seem worth it. I agree with him and he made the right choice but it also sucks and I hate that for him. I really hope we can figure it out for him. Love you bud.
The only thing we had to deal with was bedtime. Kids fighting over the sounds of eachother breathing and whining of being too close lol what would life look like if they had to share bedrooms again?! Lol The moment they fell asleep though, it was calm and we forgived them pretty quickly.
We had two games on Saturday. One at noon and one the championship game at 6. Bentley's team crushed everyone and easily grabbed that gold medal title. It was fun to have a big (not so stressful) win. What a great team building weekend.
Love you Bentley. I had the best weekend on those stands watching you do what you love. You killed it and we're so proud of the litle baller that you are! Way to go!
We got home Saturday night around 11pm but our weekend didn't end there. Penny was singing a solo in sacrament (bravest girl I know!!) and I was giving a talk in sacrament.

Everything went smoothly. Penny sounded like a literal angel. She was pumped and so excited. Her nerves did not show at all. Penny, you amaze me. You are so unique and brave and I cannot believe that you are ours. You will move mountains in this world. Love you penny, way to go girl!
This is such a beautiful phase of life and I am loving every moment of it.
