The Annual Treat Hunt

This newer tradition is such a fun one and we were so blessed with great weather. Everything was looking amazing for the day but somehow anxiety creeps up on me and this particular morning, it got the best of me. It was a hard morning and we were a few minutes late but I did the best I could and the day turned out great regardless.

I am so grateful for this family and these cute cousins!

We went out to kananaskis and started the tree hunt. We found this beautiful perfect tree SO fast!

Because we found the tree so fast, it left us tons of time to just play around. There is nothing better than being in the mountains in that fresh brisk air. It was really refreshing.

We took a ride around in the bed of Brian's truck and went sledding. My Mom made and brought Hot Cocoa and marshmellows and just hung out. It was fun, really fun.

We headed back to my parents house when we finished at the snow hill. We ate treats and hamburgers and the very best homemade french fries Ive ever had! The kids decorated the Christmas Tree and it was just nice to be together.

Despite my anxiety trying to hyjack my entire day I stretched somehow to find the joy in this beautiful day. I felt really defeated most of the day but it was nice to be around our kids and their cousins and eachother. I am grateful for this family and for each and every one of these cute little faces!

We finished this great day off as a family of five watching a Holiday Cirque show at the theater. It was a fun experience and the kids loved it.

This Christmas Season is shapping up quite nicely and its really only just begun!
