Rushing around
I try my very best to be prompt to our commitments. I feel so stressed if we're going to be late. Late to school, to church, to family dinner... really, anything. I wish I was more chill about it but Im really not. I like being on time.
Recently we have been "living our best life" with a million different things and it is testing all my abilities of being on time! I also have officially entered the "Taxi Mom" phase of life and minus the gas prices, I really love it.
Our boys have officially made it onto the Vipers Allstars baseball teams and foundation Basketball club teams AND house league baseball too. It's overwhelming if I think too much about it. Bentley's vipers team has already gotten a head start on the season and we've done multiple practises and even an exibition double header in Lethbridge. We are wasting no time here.
This was Bentley's first ever time pitching in minors baseball and he killed it! It got three kids out on strikes and no runs in. He really did so good it was fun to watch him. It's also amazing that two of his best friends are on his team. I think the out of town tournaments with these three really is going to create life long memories and I'm excited to watch them make these memories. Aside from sports, which actually feels like our whole life right now, we are still being creative, spending spare time having friends for dinner, watching family movies and staying up too late with cousins.
Penny is finishing up her little dance class this coming week and I cannot wait to go watch her little routine on the last day! She also has recently really been into making jewlery lately. Its so cute, she made all of these on her own and then taped them to her wall as she went. Seeing her creative side always makes me smile, shes so sweet. And just last weekend was General Conferance. It felt extra nice to just relax on Sunday and listen to it. I was surprised at Carter this time around. He listened and could even tell us what the talk was about. They really are growing up so fast. Of course they all looked forward to Moms General Conferance store. They listened hard in both Sunday sessions and were able to buy out all of it minus a few chocolate bars which I was happy to have extras of! How lucky are we to be busy with so many wonderful things. Life really is so beautiful even if we can barely keep up!
