On the Daily
This month has been fun and crazy and relaxing and stressful and new! So many little things! Carter's peanut desensitization trial has been going "so good so far" with no illness and no real issues (Knock on wood!). We started developing our basement at the begging of the month and that's been a real experience of mess and organization and seeing money literally fly away on the daily. Ive been taking pictures throughout and will write all about it when we're done!
We were also invited to Taylor's Baptism last week. Taylor is one of Bentley's best little buddies. They are in our ward and this year Bentley and Taylor have become really close friends. It was fun to be there for his special day.

Penny has also been on the brink of loosing a tooth for weeks. Even though this is her second tooth that she will be loosing, she's terrified so we're trying not to push her to do it and know that eventually it will have to fall out but her adult tooth is already coming out and needs to move forward! Hopefully it falls out sooner than later!

Both the Boys also finished a whole book series this month too. We are so proud of our little readers. They both love reading and when they get hooked on a series, its full steam ahead. I LOVE this quality of theirs and hope Penny will love reading too. They make me want to read more! Bentley finished his first ever book series, DogMan. Now he's onto Captain Underpants, way to go buddy!!
Carter finished the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. He PLOWED through this books, so incredibly fast!! Im so proud of you Carter, you set such a good example to everyone around you, I hope you always have your love of reading. I also LOVVVVEEE that he loves reading funny books because hearing his little chuckle as he reads silently to himself is LIFE!!! Best sounds EVER!

Speaking of books, today is Literacy Day at their school. The task was to each dress up as their favourite character from a book. Penny has been DYING to dress up as JoJo Siwa so it was no surprise that she ran to get her JoJo chapter book and asked me to read the first chapter to her last night. She then picked out her JoJo outfit, including high-top shoes that are a size too big still to complete her look. She also made sure to get one of her stuffed animal pups to act as JoJo's dog, Bow Bow. Oh Penny, you're so cute.

Bentley and Carter both chose to be Harry Potter. Bentley really wanted to be Captain Underpants but didn't want to only wear a cape and refused to wear white underwear over his pants so he settled for Harry Potter. Brian made them really cute pencil wands last night and this morning (before school... **face palm**) I made them their ties. I ran out of felt for bentleys so his is way too small but he didn't seem to care and is a good little sport! The school made sure everyone knew this was NOT halloween. No Masks, no costume that the kids would have to "dress into" or "dress out of" for things. I don't know about you, but this kinda is feeling like Halloween to me lol. However, there's no way Id give up this fun day of the year because the kids love it...and bonus.. they're so cute!

I am grateful for these adorable little kids who light my entire life, every single day!
