Happy New Year!
Its a New Year and I am so happy to welcome 2020! Its not only a new year but also a new decade! The last decade was good to me, to us. It was the decade of our babies, of growing our family and starting to travel together. It was a REALLY really rewarding decade. Of course, with life and time there was heartache too. Trials and challenges. A new year or decade isn't going to change that pattern but it will also come with new adventures and I'm excited for it.
Every passing year seems to go faster and faster. I can't believe how big our kiddoes have gotten! It seems like they're all getting so big, so fast. Here are they're cute "Year and Review!"

Carter has completely finished his Hogwarts LEGO Castle.. it took him 3 and a half days and we are SO proud of him! He did this all on his own. 6020 pieces and rated for ages 16 plus and he KILLED IT! Way to go Carter!!

This New Years Eve was a relaxing one for the most part. We played games together, had treats together and on New Years Day we ordered skip the dishes and each got our own special meal. I LOVE nights that I don't have to cook dinner.

We spent the evening out over at Andrew and Andreas house. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and we enjoyed hanging out. It was a great evening. We didn't make it to midnight but we got close and there was no other way I wanted to ring in the new year than cuddled up in Brian's arms lying in bed.

Every year we have such high hopes for a good, healthy, fun and adventurous year ahead. And of course, we do this year too but I don't have any specific resolutions I want to make. I really want to try to find the silver lining in life and in trials. Find the beauty in the world around me.
Brian starts his new job tomorrow and we're really excited for him. He's excited too. The kids go back to school in a few more days and I'm ready to get back into schedules. I don't have any expectations for the new year but am just going to say "Come what may and love it" .
Happy New Year!
