June June June
June has completely consumed our family. I cannot believe school is almost done, soccer is wrapping up, basketball and dance registration has happened for the fall and thats not to even mention the crazy amounts of school activities, field trips and evening commitments that June has for us. WOW! Just Wow.
Amongst all the chaos this awesome month has kept us busy with, the school the boys go to got funding to have the "Trickster Theatre" come to their school for the week. Each class was given a Trickster teacher who would work with their class for 45 minutes each day to come up with a skit for the performance at the end of the week.
I was super impressed with how it all came together. Brian and I went on the Thursday evening to watch the school perform and watching Bentley and Carter do their class skits was soooooo fun. Their massive smiles were sooo cute (and contagious!).

I am also getting really excited for school to be done. I am soooo tired of making lunches and am excited for those awesome lazy mornings that we can have once school is out. Penny is so excited to have the boys home too, we sure miss them when they're gone all day.

Last week Penny BEGGED me to go to this one little park. Actually, all the kids have begged me to go to this one particular park in the city that they see from the road often. The funny thing is that although you can see it from the busy road, you have to find it through the community ANNNDDD its NOT a fancy park whatsoever. Its seems strange to me that they are all wanting to play there so badly. Anyway, last week after school we stopped there for 20 minutes. Penny was REALLY.. REALLY excited!

Of course, she went straight for the swing while the boys climbed on all they could.

Then she had a complete breakdown because it was Bentley's turn on the swing... I wanted to remind her that this "Amazing" park has only 1 swing so maybe next time we should go to a park with more swings! She wasn't impressed.

This "dream park" wasn't very dreamy after all. We have just a couple more weeks and then school is out for summer! I cant wait to have them all home and for all the little adventures we will get up to! Hooray!
