Happy Easter 2018
We were lucky that the easter bunny came one day early this year! Tomorrow is a little too busy so Easter was celebrated early! It was great to explain to the kids last week the Atonement of the saviour, his resurrection and he real reason behind celebrating easter!
It was a fun and exciting morning for everyone! At 7am on the dot all three kids were beside our bed asking if we thought the Easter Bunny came. Brian and I got up and watched the kids run downstairs in sheer excitement. They all squeeled as they saw their fun easter treats.

Brian and I were the ones who left them the fun summer swim stuff but the Easter Bunny left the note and of course, the easter egg hunt.

It is the ONLY morning of the year that they get to eat chocolate before they eat breakfast and they really enjoyed every bit of it!

This afternoon we had Easter dinner with my parents. I completely forgot my camera but I can say that it was DELISH! It was not your traditional easter dinner but it was stake and double stuffed potatoes, veggies, salad.. and OH.MY.YUM!
Of course earlier in the week we painted eggs! I was watching my niece, Lucy, and nephew, Reed, so it was fun to have them over to paint eggs too! Everyone loved it, even though it lasted only 5 minutes.

We are excited to celebrate our Saviour tomorrow. His Sacrifice, atonement, his resurrection. To take some time to reflect and to be together as a family. I am so in love with these three little bunnies and how could I not take some easter pictures of them.. they're so cute! Ah!
Happy Easter everyone!
