Give Thanks

Well, Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone (WHICH MEANS CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!) and we have spent a lovely weekend together as a family. I am so very grateful and filled with joy for the time we had together this weekend.

Apparently I enjoyed myself so much that I completely forgot to take pictures after taking pictures of the tables haha oops! We had thanksgiving dinner at my parents house on Saturday and Brian's parents hosted Thanksgiving dinner tonight and as per usual, it was all fantastic! Both our parents spend so much time planning and preparing for these large family dinners and I don't think we will ever be able to fully express how much we love them for it! We understand the amount of work and planning that goes into these dinners (including all the little details of where to sit everyone) and the amount of money and time they all spend so that we, as an entire family, can sit together and give thanks. My heart is full.

My mom set her table as cute as can be. So festive and the food was amazing! We all left with VERY full tummies that night.

Cousin fun is always the best and it was this little cutie's very first thanksgiving!

Thanks to my brothers friend, Brad, who took my camera and captured a few moments of the kiddies!

Mom & Dad Reed hosted the dinner tonight and I am still so full. Im sure I will be dreaming about these turkey dinners until Christmas. Everything she made was delicious! Carter even ate three buns after his entire dinner plate and somehow still had room for a slice of pumpkin pie and whip cream.

Not to mention, it was lovely to see Grandma Hawryluk and Grandma Reed. We sure are thankful for this lovely family that we belong to. Today, we give thanks.

When the children were asked today what they are grateful for Carter said "I am thankful for the earth, the animals and my family". Bentley said "I am thankful for Jesus and Heavenly Father and my family" and Penny said she was thankful for her "babies".

I am so very grateful for these four.

I am so thankful for a Husband who supports me and encourages me. I am thankful for his constant care and concern for me. He is the glue to this awesome little family of ours.

I am so thankful for these three beautiful and spirited little children. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for sending them to us. They have such special little spirits and we are so incredibly lucky to have them. I love that they are ours.
