Quite the weekend!
Our crazy busy weekend started bright and early Friday morning when I went into Bentley's room. It was not the usually "good morning sweetie" with a kiss and a giant hug... I noticed Bentley had hives on his face... I took off his Jammies and his poor little boy was covered in hives head to toe!

Right away, I called Health Link... she asked me a bunch of questions and we figured out it was a reaction to his immunizations that he had on Wednesday night. Oh great! So both boys and I jumped in the car and headed to the doctor. Luckily, Bentley was breathing just fine and really seemed to be mostly fine. I gave him some Benadryl and a couple of hours later he was doing much much better!

His blankie and a few smiles... takes a lot more than some hives and a reaction to put this little man out of commission!

Thursday afternoon before all this happened with Bentley, I took the boys on a few errands run.. we were gone for a few house but it completely knocked Carter out! He fell asleep in the car and when I picked him up and put him in the house he fell asleep on the stairs... this has NEVER happened. So I took a quick picture with my phone....

...and then ran to go grab my nicer camera. When I got back I found Bentley trying to wake him up.. and not in a nice way! I decided to film it! What a little stink!! Thank goodness he has a wicked big brother!
Bentley seemed to be doing so much better on Saturday and we had plans to go with the McCollum Family to "Day out with Thomas" at Heritage Park. I LOVE this little tradition we have started and I know my boys do too! The weather really hasn't been that nice here lately but we really lucked out on Saturday morning with the sun. The kids were so excited! We did the fun little maze first...

Then it was to the rides! Waiting was the hardest part.

They all loved it! All the bigger kids were able to ride this year but Bentley still had to sit this one out.

The carousel was next. Bentley was able to go on this one. He wasn't really into it at while we were waiting for it to start but as soon as it started.. he LOVED it!

And when it was over.. he kept saying "no! no" as I was pulling him off the horse.

We desperately wanted to take just ONE cute picture of the kids... and everyone cooperated except Bentley.. the second the camera came out.. he cried.. every time lol so this was best we got!

But out of them all.. this gem was one of my favourites!

Followed by Autumns Big Brother Lincoln making the funniest face watching one of his Best Friends kiss his little Sister... Priceless!!

Next, was the moment Carter had been waiting (and whining the whole day) for! Boarding Thomas and going on a train ride! He was completely Star struck!

And when we were finally on "Annie and Clarabel" - Thomas's coaches... to say Carter was happy, was an understatement.

Now, while Carter was distracted... it was Bentley's turn to mac on the little lady Autumn...

Autumm gave him a kiss and he was in AWE! It was adorable!

We ended the train ride off with Carter and Lincoln being crazy... as usual...

... telling each other jokes that made no sense at all and listening to their sweet giggles was wonderful! We had such a fun time and Carter already can't wait to do it again next year!
Brian, for Mothers day, took me out with our boys and we enjoyed a WONDERFUL dinner at the Keg. I had Lobster and he had a steak! The boys were AMAZING at dinner. This is not the usual restaurant experience... usually its total mayhem! It was really a wonderful day!
Mother's Day was good too! It was insane busy and crazy like usual but it was nice. We were able to visit both of Brian's Grandmothers and both of our mothers. We ended our afternoon off at Fish Creek Park for a little BBQ. Our little family got there about an hour before my parents and sister and her family came. Brian explored with the boys and I soaked in some much needed vitamin D! The weather was Beautiful!

These 3 guys are my life. I cannot imagine life without them!

Once everyone else arrived it was full on hot dog cooking, eating and bug catching! Getting these cousins together is always a good time.

I am thankful for all the Mother's out there. Life is so much sweeter with Mothers. I am especially thankful for my mother. For the wonderful example she is to me, the amazing Grandmother she is to our children and the great example of love and friendship she is to everyone.

I am thankful for my Mother-in-Law for raising a wonderful man, for the wonderful example she is of the gospel and for all she does for us. We really are blessed.
I am so grateful for Brian and the incredible Father and Husband he is to our children and myself. He is just amazing, and I am completely in love with him! Thank you Bri for making my Mother's Day weekend truly amazing and one to remember!!
