A sweet little GIRL!
I woke up this morning to a sweet little three year old in my bed asking if I wanted to go eat some waffles with him. It was 6:57am. I made him some waffles and puked, but nothing would stop me today.. today is a beautiful day! The sun is shinning and today we got to see our sweet little nugget and find out the gender. As brian and I were putting Carter and Bentley into their carseats, I was telling Carter that Mommy and Daddy were going to find out at the doctors if the baby in my tummy was going to be a girl or a boy... Carters sweet little response was "Mommmy.... .I Weally Weally WEALLY want a baby girl". It was the CUTEST thing! Going to the appointment I was so Nervous! So unbelievable nervous. Like I was about to walk into surgery or something. Excited too but much more nervous. I think because Im not sure I can ever do pregnancy again. This pregnancy has kicked my butt and we have gotten used to the idea of 3 little angels so I was nervous. Hoping for a completely healthy baby.
We got into the room, I lied down and uncovered my ever so unattractive bump. I could feel my heart in my throat, like I just ran a race. We had the same technician as our 12 week ultrasound. I told her right away that we would like to know the gender. She took a few pictures and then went into the "little parts" area. She paused it and said "OK! What are your guesses!?" I was looking at the cord I guess so at the same time Brian said "GIRL!" I said "BOY!". The tech right away said "Nope, its a GIRL!"

My life will forever be changed! I immediately started balling.. not just crying.. BALLING... you know.. the ugly cry! I even had to cover my face because it was such an ugly cry lol It was loud and obnoxious and WONDERFUL! I immediately fell head over heals in love with our new sweet baby girl! In fact, I was tearing up so much that my tummy was moving too much for her to continue with the appointment so I got some tissues and pulled myself together. Every time the tech said "Theres HER legs.. etc" a tear would flow down my face. I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY EXCITED!!!
Its actually so hard to contain my excitement! I want to shout it from the roof tops! This sweet little baby is an active one! Every time she would kick on the screen I could feel it in my tummy. It was amazing! She has two perfect little feet that are approximately 3cm long right now and 10 sweet little toes!

Two perfect little legs and ankles!

And it was tricky for the tech to get a good profile picture of her because she was leaning her head back and kind of in a tricky spot.

And the tech stopped moving for a minute and let us watch our little girl move around and continually suck on her wrist... in and out of her mouth. It was such a beautiful thing!
But she has all 10 fingers..

And all ten toes and everything about her looks Perfect! She is measuring right on time but her head is measuring almost a week ahead... true Reed style.. just like our boys!
I was on and off crying after finding out that this baby is a girl. I am so happy to know that this is our beautiful Happily Ever After and I could not have prayed for a better family. I am so lucky! I cannot wait to meet you sweet little girl. Bentley doesn't really have a clue whats going on and Carter keeps telling me that I have a beautiful "Elsa" in my tummy.. (no her name will not be Elsa lol) We are all so so excited.
Now She can wear this beautiful Gem that has been my dream girl outfit since before I had Carter. Our sister Lena surprised us with it last weekend before even knowing we were having a girl! Risky Lena! She is going to be so beautiful! I am in Heaven!

How did we ever get so lucky. I think Brian's Grandpa Reed sent us this beautiful little angel and I LOVE the idea that he probably got to hold her in heaven before she was sent to us. I cannot explain my excitement. I am on cloud 9, she will have two of the best big brothers to watch over her. Brian, we are so lucky to have these three beautiful children in our lives for eternity!
I am one lucky Mama!
