One little Nugget! 12 weeks!

Today has been such a special day for us! Today is our 10 year anniversary (from when we started dating) AND we got to see our sweet sweet little baby for the very first time today too!! I am exactly 12 weeks today and there is no hiding this bump!



Seriously, I know they always say you show a little faster which each pregnancy but this is seeming a little crazy. Oh well, just soak it all in I guess! I would much rather have a giant baby belly than be puking! I still am not having any serious cravings... although when I see pictures of food I feel like I need it IF it looks appetizing. And I have found that my body doesn't really puke up toast so I have been eating A TON of toast... not that I crave it, just that I am able to keep it down mostly. This past weekend, my mom watched our boys on Saturday from 11am to 11pm and it was GLORIOUS! What an amazing way to spend our mini anniversary! We had no idea what to do with ourselves for the full day and REALLY just enjoyed how quiet it was. The boys had SO MUCH FUN with Grandma for the day and are still talking to me about how awesome it was. Thanks mom for doing that! Bri and I ended up looking at show homes, shopping around, eating out for lunch and dinner (what a treat!) and ended the evening off with a playoff hitman hockey game at the Saddledome! Our very first date was a hockey game together so it was fun to be able to think back and laugh about it all over again. I love you Brian Reed so unbelievably much and cannot believe we have been together for 10 years! WHOA!



Our Ultrasound this morning was perfect! Baby has two arms, two legs, a brain and a perfect body. We are so lucky! They said everything looked exactly how it was supposed to right now and so we are really low risk :) They also confirmed by due date of October 8th and that I am exactly 12 weeks today!





Baby's heartbeat was 150 bmp at our appointment today! There is just something so special about seeing the heart beating so fast. Thats our baby!!



Baby was also a MOVER! Baby was moving so fast and all over the place! Up, Down, kicking everywhere! Must have really liked the waffles and syrup I had this morning for breakfast lol

We are so lucky and I instantly fell in LOVE with this baby!! We did ask for the tech to see if she could tell us the gender of baby and she said she had a pretty good guess but that she would not tell us! Darn it! I guess Ill just have to be patient! Its funny, since we've announced having a baby, so many people have said "oh I hope its a girl for your sake" or "You must be trying for a girl" lol its funny for me. To be perfectly honest.. I would LOVE to have a little girl.. but I would also LOVE to have another boy .. we have names picked out for either gender and really all I want is another healthy baby. So no, I'm not trying to a specific gender.

Today, I completely fell in love.



So to our third little nugget. I love you more than ever already, You are perfect in my eyes and in every way possible. You are worth all the puking and I cannot wait to celebrate you this fall when you are here. I cannot wait to kiss you whenever I want to, to hold you tight, swaddle you in my favourite receiving blanket that I have yet to buy for you. I cannot wait to make you your own special nursery and give you a special little name that was picked just for you. I love you my sweet little baby3.
