Domesticated.

Fall is the perfect time to make freezer meals, enjoy the perfect weather and do some canning! How domestic of us right?! This past Saturday.. Kaylee, Sarah, Andrea and I got together and really got in touch with our wife/mother roots and did some canning! It was so fun to have friends to do it with this year and I can totally see a tradition being made!



The guys all took the kids and braved the day! Bentley stayed with us for the first little bit so he could nap while the big kids all got to go out for lunch!

This time around, we canned peaches..

Tomatoes and Pickles.. TONS of Pickles!





I dont think we actually realized just how many pickles we bought. But they are SO GOOD (they're Grandma Reed's recipe!) and they will be great little "thinking of you" gifts here and there.

We spent the entire afternoon canning away. It was super fun but by the end I think we were all feeling exhausted! We made 4 jars of peaches, 14 jars of pears, 11 jars of tomatoes and 45 jars of Pickles! Yum Yum!



And Everyone made it out alive and mostly clean.. except for poor Bentley.. he was the dirtiest I have EVER seen him.. that WAS a white onesie! He was a total wreck and went straight into the bathtub!



I really love these ladies so much! Some of my best friends and I am so lucky to have them to vent to, to tell my secrets to and to always have those "I'm having a 1/4 life crisis" moments with! Love you guys!! I am glad we can brave life, kids, families and canning together!
