My Mischievous Little Man...

Yes, it has finally happened! Carter discovered my backing cupboard. For the longest time he would open the cupboards and shut them and then follow that by clapping. It was such a fun game for us until Friday November 4th! It took him 11 months to figure out where exactly the icing sugar was... clearly thats what he wanted...

I hate to admit it, but I was literally standing right beside him... I was doing the dishes... so of course he found the perfect time. It took probably 2 seconds to pull out the icing sugar and have it all over the floor. My hands were completely wet and soapy... he planned it perfectly!

I was just about to get "mad" and say "No Carter!!" but I could NOT resist the cutest face in the world... it truly was a "Canon-Moment" and I could not help myself.

I mean of course you don't want your kids to get into things like this... but really... how often does it happen and ... you can't make it "un-happen" so you might as well take a few pictures and laugh about it later...

He was in Heaven! And of course he LOVED the taste of icing sugar!

Once I got him cleaned up and washed the completely sticky floor.. we installed cupboard baby locks ... Immediately! lol

I'm sure every mother thinks this.. and add me to the list... but I am sure I have one of the messiest boys in the world. He always has a sticky face... no matter how often I wash it and dinner time in Carter's world... is truly comparable to the zoo Im sure! This week while Brian was at work, I took a "dinner" video of Carter playing peek-a-boo with his sippy cup (a regular dinner game... naturally) Closer to the end of the video he shows you how he can wave bye-bye, clap and blow kisses. Oh the mess he makes!
