Jelly.Bean.Belly

Well another week over.. seems each week starts to go a little faster. Exciting. As much as I am still puking, back aching and so on... we are trying to embrace every little moment that we can. I wonder if we will ever be as ready as we want to be.

I cannot believe how beautiful the weather has been throughout October. Amazing. Wonderful. I always wanted to make sure to get a lot of maternity photos. I love pictures, they are the best way to records your memories.. laughs.. smiles.. and the make you forget about the back aches and puking.

When we took these photos we were 31 weeks. Now we are almost 32! Baby Reed is growing and growing and I can feel his every move now. Every hic cup, and every kick. I love you Jelly Bean.
At 32 weeks now, we only have 8 weeks to go.. if Baby lasts that long. We had our last doctors appointment on September 30th, 2010, it was wonderul... we got to hear his perfect little beating heart again.... 123BPM. Relaxed.

Lately I have had a lot of pain in my ribs. Not pleasant. But when we asked our doctor about it, it was fun to know that our little boy puts his bum right under them... Ouch! Our doctor also told us that Baby is in the "laboring position".. rump at the top! Good job Baby!

This little baby has been such a blessing in our lives and we haven't even met him yet. Let me tell you why.

Ever since I was little I carried around a baby doll with me... everywhere I went.. i mean everywhere! And Brian.... he carried around a Star Wars Lightsaber (which he still has today because he would not let me sell it at our little garage sale)... so really this baby is a blessing.. Brian gets to re-live his childhood with our son who will probably play Star Wars with him and I get to be a Mommy just like I used to dream about.

As for life in the Reed home, we are doing well.... Brian is right into school now, so much for the first few slack days ... it's all or nothing now. He is a wonderful Husband. He works full time, does three evening classes and still has time to hold our Baby Belly and give his prego wife a back massage. Your the best Bri!

On to Week 32 we go.

Baby Reed is now about 18 inches from his toes to his head. He apparently weighs a whopping 4 pounds! In the past we have been seeing our Doctor every 4 weeks since week 12. Now we see her every other week. Good thing we love her. She is an amazing doctor. I think I will go to her for every little addition to our family.

Our doctor says our baby is "growing like a weed" and that we can expect to have a "big" baby. Although I feel like I have a hippopotamus belly, she says its exactly what she likes to see, which is good enough for me.
